Fun Twin Stuff
Here's my twins clubs that I belong to:
Waukesha Mothers of Twins Club
This is my local club. When I first joined, there were only 6 people in the club, but it has grown in leaps 'n bounds. I think there's over 30 moms in the group now. We get together once a month and then we have holiday parties and mom's night out a few times a year. We are going to be doing a rummage sale twice a year and we have fundraisers a few times a year. My job this year is publicity. It's nice to get out and get support from other mom's of twins.
Wisconsin Organization of Mothers of Twins Club
This is our state club. We go to conventions twice a year and we have a newsletter that goes out 4 times a year. I used to be the webmaster for the website but I just didn't have enough time to work on it enough. Now I just help with it once in awhile. My new job is a reporter for the newsletter. I get to go interview famous twins. Ok, the only ones I've interviewed so far are Todd and Troy but I had so much fun that I'm on my search for the next ones. I think I'm going to try to contact a local DJ here who is a mom of triplets. I would like to be more involved with this club but once again, there's just not enough time when you have 5 active kids at home.
National Organization of Mothers of Twins Club
This is the national website. I get a really nice newsletter from them 4 times a year. That's it. Their website used to really suck so I didn't check it out too often. I hear it's getting better so maybe someday I'll check it out again. Not at the top of my priority list.
Celebrity Twins
I think it's nice for the kids to be able to see adult twins together with a great career. They may be little but I think they understand a lot of it. I could be wrong, but what's it gonna hurt?
